"content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I rise pursuant to Standing Order No.53(1) to seek a statement from the Standing Committee on Roads, Transport and Housing regarding the maintenance of the Lologo-Korr Road in Marsabit County. In this statement, the Committee should- (1) Ascertain the plans, if any, devised by the county government of Marsabit, for the comprehensive construction of the dilapidated Lologo-Korr Road. (2) Provide clear and definitive timelines for the maintenance works slated to be undertaken on the Lologo-Korr Road, stating the commencement and completion dates. (3) Outline measures put in place by the County Government of Marsabit to ensure all roads conform to high-quality standards, reducing the need for frequent repairs and inconvenience to the commuters.
