Can you substantiate who are these people at the office of the CoB who must be given money in order to approve requests? We want to really help Madam (Dr.) Margaret Nyakang’o to be in charge of this very important institution. Could you help us with their names?"

"content": " I wanted to support Sen. Osotsi. He should not agree to be intimidated by the Majority Whip. What he is saying is factual. None other than the Senate Majority Leader in this House has stated that this habit of County Executive Committee Members (CECM) for Finance and Economic Planning travelling all the way from as far as Moyale, Tana River, Kericho and Kilifi, to come and meet with officers from the CoB to get their budget approvals is a practice that this House must bring to an end. The man who is responsible for that practice is none other than this Whip, because he sits in the Committee on Budget and Finance. Therefore, I expect the Whip to tell Sen. Osotsi when they are likely to invite Madam Margaret, so that together with CBK, they can inform the Senate when this very archaic practice will stop. Therefore, Sen. Osotsi is right."
