"content": " Hon. Temporary Chairman, we should not do away with the large-scale farmers who also represent the estates. There is no provision for the estates in Clause 7. This is the amended version of the clause. Look at the amendment on the Order Paper. Do not look at the original Bill. We looked at the provisions that were made and co-operative societies were missing. They need to be represented. Small- scale farmers and large-scale farmers, who are the estates, need to be represented."

"content": " Hon. Temporary Chairman, there is an amendment to delete Clause 7(1)(f) and substitute it with a new paragraph (f) that talks about one person nominated by coffee co-operative societies. Smallholder farmers are always in co- operative societies. Therefore, the estates and the large-scale farmers are missing."
