"content": "(a) How many road accidents reported between January and December 2024 involved vehicles transporting miraa along the Mwea-Embu highway. Could the Cabinet Secretary state the number of lives lost as a result of those accidents? (b) Could the Cabinet Secretary explain the absence of speed-limit signs along the said highway, which continues to impede the effective prosecution of speeding drivers? (c) Could the Cabinet Secretary explain what the Government is doing to permanently address speeding and reckless driving along the Mwea-Embu highway, and state whether there are plans to supply speed guns to the Kirinyaga County Traffic Police Department, which currently has none? (1) Could the Cabinet Secretary indicate the annual budgetary allocation for projects by the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) and the Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) for the construction and upgrade of roads in Kisumu County from the 2020/2021 financial year to date?
