"content": "Thank you, Hon. Speaker. Well-guided. The police have managed to recover the two vehicles belonging to Cyrus Kieru Muhia. Additionally, one suspect, Karanja Gatana, has been arrested. Gatana admitted to dropping the Member of Parliament at a hotel, where he had refreshments and spent the night with the two abductors on 25th May 2025, following the alleged abduction. He added that on 26th May 2025, while using Kiratu's vehicle, he picked up the Member of Parliament from the hotel and took him to the scene, where they claimed that he had been dumped."

"content": "Before the Member of Parliament exited the vehicle, he helped him tear his clothes to fake evidence of torture by the alleged abductors. The letter and the Statement are signed by Douglas Kanja Kirocho, MGH, CBS, OGW, the Inspector-General of the NPS, on 28th May 2025. I do not have much to add to this. That is the Statement. It is not my own words. They are words from the Inspector-General, the authority mandated by our Constitution and our laws to investigate such matters. They are competent enough and have the requisite knowledge and experience. Along with the Statement, I had also given our own findings on behalf of the House in regards to our visit. I submit."
