Member of Parliament of any Governmental

There are currently 222 Members of Parliament. 210 directly elected by their constituencies, and 12 nominated MPs.

In the 2012 election the number of MPs will increase to 290 members elected by registered votes in an increased number of constituencies, 47 women elected by registered voters from the counties, 12 members nominated by parliamentary political parties to represent special interests of youth, persons with disabilities and workers, and the Speaker of the National Assembly.
