The potential of Kenya as a preferred medical tourism destination is its geographical location of connectivity by road, air and water, high skilled personnel availability, growing health education, advanced health policing with supplementary UHC and a mature democracy with political stability. With those few conclusive remarks, I hope that if and when these amendments are passed, the CS Health shall put in place the necessary statutory instruments to help realise the very noble intentions of these amendments. I wish to thank the Chairperson, Members and staff of the Departmental Committee on Health for the facilitation, expertise, consultation and stakeholder engagement during the pre-publication scrutiny of this legislative proposal culminating in the proposed amendment and after the Bill was formally committed to the Committee upon being read the First Time. As I conclude, I request Hon. Caleb Hamisi, the Member of Parliament for Saboti, to second this Bill."}
