When you are charged in a criminal court and convicted, you cannot be removed as a Member of this House. Article 99(2) (h) of the Constitution states that you must have been found, in accordance with any law, to have misused or abused a state or public office or in any way have contravened Chapter Six of the Constitution. That is why it is possible for a Member of Parliament, who has been convicted of an offence, to continue being a Member of the House until the appeal process is exhausted.
