(1) Where an offence under this Act is committed by a body corporate or any other association, the offence shall be deemed to have been committed by a director, a partner or any other person involved in, or acting or purporting to act in the management of affairs of the body corporate or association. (2) It shall be a defense to a charge under this section where the court is satisfied that— (a) the act or omission constituting the offence took place without the person’s knowledge; or (b) the person took reasonable steps to prevent the commission of the offence."}
