For the first time, the CFS will surpass the recurrent budget that we have had. This is a 24 per cent increase by Kshs253 billion from the Financial Year 2020/ 2021 levels and is primarily on account of increased public debt service expenses which presently constitute approximately 88 per cent of all the CFS expenses."}
