Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me this opportunity to contribute. This is the first time that the Budget Policy Statement (BPS) is consistent with the Budget Estimates. I served in the Budget and Appropriations Committee in the last Parliament. We realised that there was a big discrepancy between the BPS and the Budget Estimates. We can see some improvements now in the sense that the variation is statistically insignificant."}
