I am grateful that this House has debated the Law of Succession (Amendment) Bill (National Assembly Bill No. 75 of 2019). It has been a hot debate but I want to sound a warning. As a polygamist; I have three wives, this thing is the best law to sort out the mess in a polygamous family. When men go out there impregnating women, do they understand the implication after that? I like the Speaker of the Senate, Hon. Lusaka. He spoke like a man. I stand by him. He said that he admits that that child belongs to him. If I were in that position, I would also admit. We have done a wonderful job and I want to congratulate Members who have debated this amendment. We have given Kenyans a clear way of sorting out the mess during succession in courts."}
