I also want to join my colleagues in commenting on this statement by Hon. Keter. I request that as the Chair of the Departmental Committee on Education and Research will be following on the issues raised by Hon. Keter, there are two other issues which I would want to enjoin. One, whereas the student ratio has gone up, the Ministry has come up with a new policy of banning registration of new schools which is completely the inverse. Every primary school must combine with another to make a secondary school. Once you ban the registration of a new school, definitely that is an awkward policy which cannot deliver the population that we have."}
