I would like to bring to the attention of this House that the religious sector has consented to this amendment. We had a meeting with the Supreme Council of Kenya Muslims (SUPKEM) Secretary General, the moderator of the Presbyterian Church of East Africa, Rev. Timothy Ragi who is a member of the Anglican Church, Archbishop Wabukala, the Catholic Church and the Muslims. So, that is an agreed position. We also have supporting documents from the Kenya Parents Caucus and a memorandum which I believe has been given to all the Members of this House, with signatures supporting this amendment as one which has been agreed."}
