Speaker. I want to add my support for this petition. It is true that tourists come to Kenya for the purpose of tourism. I want to correct Hon. Sankok who said that that is where the rubber meets the tarmac. I would rather say that is where the tyre meets the tarmac. That is more palatable to utilise and it is on a lighter note. It is important that we note that Ksh163 billion was received through tourism in 2019. In 2020, it was Ksh37 billion. That is a huge chunk of income that the Government earns. Therefore, we cannot ignore the individuals that run the show on this matter. I do support this petition. Thank you very much, Hon. Speaker."}
