In the Statement, the Committee should- (1) Explain the reasons for NHIF refusal to cover patients admitted to private hospitals with COVID-19 and yet the Fund continues to receive monthly contributions from such patients; (2) State the recourse available for members and their beneficiaries in the event of death given that private hospitals usually refuse to release bodies of the deceased patients"}
