At the outset, I support the Bill that has been brought here by a world renowned surgeon, Hon. Dr. Pukose. He has seen the problems that Kenyans face, especially because of the upsurge in cases of cancer and non-regulated food and drugs. I support the Kenya Food Bill, which will birth the Kenya Food and Drug Authority that will house all regulatory organs of all the foods and drugs in our country."}
