(2) A person who contravenes the provisions of subsection (1) commits an offence and shall be liable, upon conviction— (a) to a fine not exceeding ten million shillings, or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding seven years, or to both; and, (b) the court may, where a person is convicted for an offence, make a further order that the persons’ licence be withdrawn. The justification is that this amendment seeks to proscribe safety standards that millers ought to comply with. Thank you."}
