Member that other maize seeds grew well. There are things which go with the highbrid seed; these are things like manure and fertilizer. When we analysed the soil of the area, we found that it had a very low nitrogen and organic carbon and also phosphorous. This could have been corrected by using fertilizer. Now what we have done--- In the last season, farmers did not have a depot where they could get subsidised fertilizer from, but now we are making arrangements for them to get fertilizer at Kinna."}
