In 2016, the courts ruled that the law does not define a political party and the matter was upheld in the Court of Appeal. It is the responsibility of Parliament to define what a political party is, and not the courts. We must take that cue from the courts. The courts have said that Parliament was expected to define a political party, which it has not. Hence, the courts cannot define what a political party means."}
