I beg to move: THAT, Clause 100 of the Bill be amended by inserting the following new sub- clause immediately after sub-clause (2) — (3) Where the court orders or summons an expert pursuant to subsection (1), a party to the proceedings shall be given an opportunity to submit their views before the court makes an order. This is necessitated by the fact that a court conducting proceedings sometimes calls for an expert report, which at times is not provided to all parties. This goes against the tenets of a fair hearing and trial. The proposed amendment seeks to mandate the courts to avail such reports and receive the views of the parties."}
