If you want to rent my premise, we agree that it will be for a period of time, say three years, and I am going to charge you “X” amount of shillings. I have no business increasing rent within the first three years. It will be sealed for those three years. If I intend to renew the lease agreement, then at that point in time, we can discuss whether I am going to increase or reduce the rent. I think this Clause also needs to be amended.
