I believe this was an off-shoot of the original Kenya Polytechnic which I turned into the Technical University of Kenya (TUK). I am not surprised that it is domiciled under the Ministry of Education because originally, the Kenya Polytechnic was under the same Ministry. I am the one who ensured it becomes a university."}
