In the past, we have seen people who have even been convicted of criminal offences holding Ministerial positions. It is high time we put a stop to this by making it very clear that somebody who has been convicted of corruption or an economic crime within the meaning of the Anti-Corruption and Economic Crimes Act, should not be allowed to hold such a position."}
