I wish to thank the party Leader H. E Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta and the Senators who voted for me to be the Deputy Majority Whip, a position that has never been held in this Senate by a nominated Member on our side. I am grateful that I was able to secure that. Madam Deputy Speaker, I also had an opportunity of being the top 10 nominated Senators for four years running.
