We have just changed gender. In history, land was a womanâs thing. Even in English, you say âmotherlandâ, and not âfatherlandâ. Even in Spanish, which I speak, is â mapayis â. It has to do with motherhood, and not fatherhood. Land is always about mothers. Even during the last Referendum on the Draft Constitution, I voted âNoâ. Whenever I was asked about the side I would vote during the referendum, I said I would vote âNoâ, except on the land issue."}
