It is a national disaster. I am happy that the Senator for Meru County brought up this issue. I urge the Committee on Roads and Transportation, to move with speed and find a way to ensure this bridge is redesigned in order to save lives. I remember during his campaigns, the President promised that in his first 100 days, the Nithi Bridge will be redesigned. I trust his word. I am sure this will be prioritised once the Government settles. Nonetheless, he should get a report through the Chairperson of the Committee on Roads and Transportation, so that we can have a bridge that does not kill people."}
