When somebody was almost convincing our party leader that it was not necessary to conduct party primaries in my county because the guy I was running against was so popular, Sen. Murkomen and Sen. Cheruiyot stood by me and wanted us to be subjected to nominations. They said that if I was good enough, I would win. If I was not good enough, I would learn.
