I think through the county governments, we can also create a department for the old. You will find an 80 to 90-year-old grandmother going to hospital and being attended to by a very young man such that communication is even a challenge. You will find those young people - who are our sons and daughters - always in a hurry. So, at times, they do not even get the right healthcare in cases where old people feel shy not wanting to be undressed. As a Government and a House, it is time we came up with a healthcare policy where we create a department for the old and any old person who goes, let us say to Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH), knows that there is a specific department where they can be accorded fast-tracked services and handled by staff of the right age."}
