C. Kilonzo has raised an issue regarding who the current MD of KEBS is. For the time being, Eng. Mang’eli is the MD of KEBS. However, we are consulting and we have legal issues to look at before we take further action. With respect to public interest, I said that I am not privy to what public interest matters were contained in the letter of Amb. Muthaura. As you know, the Government has various sources of information and unless I am told exactly what public interest led to that letter being written, I would not know. The letter from the Prime Minister’s Office, which has been laid on the Table, and which has already been read by Mr. Mungatana, directed that the MD and the Chairman’s contracts should not be renewed. I have not received it; it was probably addressed to my PS, but was not copied to me. I have not been made aware of it. I do not think that there is anyone who is trying to intimidate me. I cannot be intimidated by anyone. However,"}
