Joseph Makilap","speaker":null,"content":" Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I also wanted to join my colleague, Hon. Rutto, from Kesses, formerly Eldoret South, where the late Hon. (Dr) Joseph Misoi was a Member of Parliament. In my youthful age as an aspiring politician, I admired Hon. (Dr) Joseph Misoi for his principles. He was a person that believed in Kenya. Politicians today believe in personalities instead of believing in their country. Hon. (Dr) Joseph Misoi, a veterinary doctor, is one astute Kalenjin politician who believed in Kenya and wanted devolution to change the lives of the people of Kenya that live in far-flung areas or those whose regimes and governments have marginalized. I admired him as an academician, as a person who had focus and steadfastness in his ideologies for Kenya. That is one son of the Kalenjin nation who had joined the forefathers who wanted Kenya to become a federal or majimbo state at the onset of Independence."}
