I am happy to announce to the House that on Friday we managed to partner with the National Treasury. We will be having a very serious engagement with all the stakeholders in the Pensions Sector. That includes the Council of Governors (CoG), the Retirement Benefits Authority (RBA), Inter-Governmental Relations Technical Committee (IGRTC) and counties, to try and resolve this problem. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I believe we are nearing a resolution to this problem and will soon table a report to this House on this matter. I believe if Senate will be able to resolve this matter of outstanding pension liabilities in the counties, this will be one of our major contributions, as a Senate, in this country. I support."}
