This is a very progressive Bill. Kenya now joins the rest of the 41 countries in the world that have integrated sign language into their laws. I know that we have it in our Constitution, but now we are going to have an Act of Parliament to operationalize what Article 7 of the Constitution requires us to do. This Bill is very progressive for this country. It will now officially make Kenya have three national languages - English, Kiswahili and Kenya Sign Language. I support."}
