The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) which was the then Minority Party tried to de-whip Hon. David Ochieng’, the current Member of Parliament (MP) for Ugenya from sitting in some committees. When they moved to court, the then Speaker made a ruling that Parliament cannot be injuncted by anybody; not the courts of law or any arm of Government"}
