Ali Roba","speaker_title":"","speaker":null,"content":"THAT clause 6 of the Bill be amended- (a) in paragraph (f) by deleting the words “one person” appearing immediately before the words “nominated by the Council” and substituting therefor the words “two persons”; (b) by deleting paragraph (h) and substituting therefor the following new paragraph- (h) one person representing persons with disabilities appointed by the cabinet secretary; (c) by deleting subclause (3) and substituting therefor the following new subclause- (3) The persons appointed under subsection (1)(d), (e), (f) and (h) shall hold office for a term of three years and shall be eligible for reappointment for one further term of three years. Madam Temporary Chairperson, the Controller of Budget (COB) should not have had a representative in the Board since the role of this office is more of approval of withdrawal of funds for implementation of the program."}
