Members of Parliament, and this amendment Bill is making it clear; is simply playing their oversight and representative role in matters to do with NG-CDF. This Bill is now making it very clear that a Member of Parliament has absolutely no role in the implementation of NG-CDF projects or in fact any national Government project. Our singular role in NG-CDF and other national Government projects is to offer meaningful oversight to ensure that there is value for money and projects are delivered in a timely and effective manner for the benefit of the people we represent. Our second constitutional mandate is to ensure that we represent our people."}
