I also want to thank my friend from Meru Central for bringing this Bill. No doubt, cancer has become a big problem in Kenya. There must be a reason we have a proliferation of cancer. Recently, there seems to be a lot of hope for cancer patients in that it is no longer necessarily a death sentence diagnosis. The whole issue is early diagnosis, visiting the oncologists, and early treatment. I have witnessed people who have made a comeback from cancer because of early diagnosis and appropriate treatment. Anything that can be done to make cancer less and less of a deadly disease is going to be helpful."}
