Temporary Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 30 of the Bill be amended by deleting sub-clause (3) and inserting the following new sub-clause– “(3) A gambling licence issued under this section shall be valid for a period of twelve months from the date of issue or for such other period as may be prescribed in regulations.” The amendment seeks to ensure that the validity period of a license issued under the Bill is expressly stated in the main legislation and,if otherwise, the regulations shall provide an invalidity period."}
