While I support the Chairperson’s amendment, the current problem in the medical sector is that we talk about pharmacists without looking at the end of the chain. Having a pharmacist with some medical supply chain experience is good. We may have medicines in warehouses and we get a pharmacist who tells us their chemical composition, but he or she does not know how to move them from point A to point B to ensure that there is a steady supply chain. The chairperson should be a pharmacist with some medical supply chain experience so that we can merge the two. We should get a chairperson who understands drug composition, but can also ensure that drugs get to the right place."}
