Madam Temporary Speaker, just a moment. Turn to our volume two, the small bundle with a green cover. I want to show you the appointment of county chief officers. Governor, Section 45 reads as follows- “45. Appointment of county chief officers (1) Whenever a vacancy arises in the office of a county chief officer, the respective governor shall within fourteen days - (a) nominate qualified and experienced county chief officers from among persons competitively sourced and recommended by the County Public Service Board; and, (b) with the approval of the county assembly, appoint county chief officers.” Governor, that is the law. Do you agree with that?"}
