There is no way a Cabinet Secretary can make any appointment and then seek for it to be approved by Parliament. It has to be made clear that Parliament stands for the two Houses: the National Assembly and the Senate. Is it both of them or one of them which will approve the nominees? I would have pointed out so many other inconsistencies in this Bill but because my time is up, I wish to voice my opposition and urge the House to reject this Bill. Thank you very much, Hon.
