I would like to congratulate the Minister, the Assistant Ministers, the Permanent Secretary and his entire team for a job well done. We have seen our education sector grow from strength to strength, and in particular, from the time the Free Primary Education (FPE) programme was introduced. It is a success story. This was followed by supported secondary education. Kenya is envied by many countries in this region. I can authoritatively say that we are among the very few countries that offer free primary education and partially paid for secondary education."}
