Temporary Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 2 of the Bill be amended by inserting the following new paragraph immediately after paragraph (e)— “(f) by inserting the following new definition in proper alphabetical sequence— “parliamentary party” means a party or coalition of parties consisting of not less than five percent of the membership of the National Assembly; We are purely defining what a parliamentary party is. In the appointment of the selection panel, we have said a party that is not parliamentary will not be making a nomination. So, we have defined a parliamentary party to be exactly what it is in our Standing Orders."}
