Temporary Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 27 of the Bill be amended— (a) by deleting sub-clause (1) and substituting therefor the following new sub-clause— (1) The board may refuse to grant a licence where the application does not comply with the requirements imposed under this Act; and, (b) by deleting sub-clause (2) and substituting therefor the following new sub-clause— (2) The board shall notify the applicant of the decision within fourteen days of such refusal.
