To address the imbalances in regional development, which has been a real source of social discontent, the stimulus programme is deliberately designed to cover all parts of the country. The programme has projects intended to expand irrigation –based agriculture with a view to ensuring food security. We will, as part of this programme, construct wholesale and fresh produce markets countrywide for the purpose of improving marketing and distribution of agricultural produce."}
