(1) The Chairperson and members of the Board, shall hold office for a term of three years and may be eligible for re-appointment for an additional final term of three years. (2) Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (1), the Chairperson or a member of the Board may be removed from office if that person- (a) has been absent from three consecutive meetings of the Committee without justifiable cause or the written permission of the Chairperson; (b) is adjudged bankrupt or enters into a composition or arrangement with the creditors of the person; (c) is convicted of an offence involving anti-economic crimes or corruption; (d) becomes incapable of carrying out the functions of their office due to an infirmity of mind or body; (e) violates Chapter Six of the Constitution; or (f) fails to disclose any interest in a matter under consideration by the Committee as provided for under this Act."}
