(Dr) John Mutunga Kanyuithia","speaker":null,"content":" I beg to move: THAT, Clause 15 of the Bill be amended by deleting subclause (2) and substituting therefor the following new subclause— “(2) A person is qualified for appointment under subsection (1) if the person— (a) holds a post graduate degree in agriculture, business, law or any other relevant field from a university recognized in Kenya; (b) has at least ten years’ knowledge and experience from a relevant field; (a) has at least five years’ experience in a senior management position; and (b) meets the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution”. The Committee decided that a minimum of a master’s degree be the qualifying credentials for the CEO. Very many Kenyans have gone to school. You do not have to stick to a first degree."}
