I honestly feel it is time for all special interest groups to be represented at the decision-making table. It is long overdue. Women are the majority in co-operative societies, just like in the teaching fraternity. Still, they are never included when it comes to elections for positions in the management of the co-operative societies because elections are skewed towards a certain group. I am also very excited about this amendment. I am happy that the time has come for all special interest groups, including the disabled and women, to be represented at the decision- making table."}
