Temporary Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 27 of the Bill be amended- (a) by deleting sub-clause (1) and substituting therefore the following new sub-clause— (1) The cabinet secretary shall, in consultation with the cabinet secretary responsible for finance, put in place measures for the granting of fiscal and non-fiscal incentives, including tax incentives as shall be considered necessary for the development of start-ups. (b) by deleting sub-clause (2). This amendment seeks to enhance clarity in sub-clauses (1) and (2) through the redrafted provision."}
