More importantly, they will upgrade the Community Health Promoters (CHPs) who are doing a commendable job. However, they should also be trained as social workers so as to work well within our communities. It is time we pushed out the Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) in as much as they do a lot of work. The Government must now come in and occupy that space. We allowed that space to be taken over by various NGOs, who have been doing a commendable job. Unfortunately, they are unable to do what the Government is supposed to do for vulnerable communities. This is a timely Bill. I hope Hon. Kimilu will allow a few amendments so as to strengthen it. It will be a game-changer for members of our community. Thank you, Hon. Temporary Speaker. With those remarks, I support the Bill."}
